Built to face all finned adversaries this reel features nine sealed stainless steel ball bearings plus an anti-reverse bearing, a machine cut brass pinion gear, and large oiled felt washers with 30% more drag surface. External features are a spool made from anodised gold aluminium with stainless steel reinforcing and a titanium lip, a lightweight graphite body with a silver metallic finish, and a handle with a soft grip surface. All Epix reels are fitted with Okuma’s Rotor Equalisation System, this results in a fast and incredibly smooth retrieve. These reels combine Okuma’s tough and durable construction with precision finish that results in extremely smooth casting, fast ultra-smooth retrieves and positive hook-ups.
