Description X-Factor Rod Okuma was focused on developing the best quality, high end performance surf & rock blanks available, which brought the X-Factor range to the game. Intricately machine woven graphite strands come together to present extremely responsive blanks which offer a med/fast taper with serious power in the butt section, the sophistication of the graphite weave is visible throughout the entire length of the blank denoting the sheer power of the construction. Featuring Fuji guides & reel seat these power packed sticks are a must have for all serious anglers; all surf models include a sand spike. The demand for these blanks to cover a larger array of fishing applications was far too great to ignore so the R&D team at Okuma added a further four models to the range including a XHeavy 12’ surf perfect for quickly subduing a 50 pound jewie from behind the breakers, a 9’ surf well suited to pegging chromes wide of rock ledges or fishing beaches where clearing the sets isn’t such a big issue, a 7’6” XHeavy spin designed for northern anglers tossing big poppers at gorging GTs and marauding mackerel, and even a 6’6” four piece travel rod manufactured from the same toughened cloth, rated 1-3kg complete with its own hard carry case!
